The Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa and the European Communication Institute (E.C.I.) are co-organizing for the first time the 1st Naoussa Journalism Festival (NJF), a new and ambitious event dedicated to journalism, information, communication, and content creation.
The Festival will take place in October 2026 and aims to become a high-quality institution, bringing together journalists, academics, experts, students, creators, and citizens from across the country in a creative dialogue.
An event with institutional standing and a modern identity
The 1st Naoussa Journalism Festival aims to:
- Highlight the role of quality information
- Address the challenges of misinformation and emerging technologies
- Shed light on the future of journalism in the digital era
- Create an annual space for dialogue, learning, and collaboration
The co-organization by the Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa and E.C.I. ensures an institutional character from the very first year, with a clear focus on education, democracy, and outreach.
